much, with all of the talk about food and wine, I went out to the store
and purchased some fresh asparagus, steak and mushrooms PLUS a bottle
of red (a Côtes du Rhône). Very tasty.

are really enjoying your wine tasting class! We're planning to take
the next class as well. I really enjoy the food-wine intersection--
last night we had an Alsatian Riesling (the 2002 Dirler) with Weiner
schnitzel and sweet-sour cabbage. Divine combination. Again, thanks

We
just finished the wine course at the French embassy. I've always been
intimidated by French wines (the labels are so confusing) so I stuck
with California's. The course is excellent and Summer is a delight.
Now I cannot wait to start buying French wines (at Pearson's of
course).
